Selling scrap gold is an interesting area of gold most people have not been aware of until recently.
What is classed as scrap?
Scrap gold can include any products that are made of gold, silver or platinum. We have listed some items to name but a few:

The condition is immaterial. Old gold that cannot be restored to its former glory is ideal as the gold can be reused.
Usually it would not be economical to repair such articles but they can easily be sold as scrap.
How much will you get for your scrap?
Generally speaking you will get the scrap value of the gold at the moment it is assessed by any dealer.
It is important to note that the price a dealer may pay will not in any way reflect the retail price of that item. It reflects merely the value of the gold by weight and quantity only. What that ammount is, is difficult to say as it will vary with the type of gold, the quantity you are offering and of-course the terms under which the dealer operates.
How to sell your scrap
Come and visit us instore, where we are able to test any metal that is not hallmarked and offer you cash for your scrap gold!
If you decide to sell your scrap to us, we are able to send a check by post or pay you in cash. If not we will return the gold to you.
Alternatively pack your scrap safely with a description of the contents with your full name and address including your email address and confirm you are 18 or over and have the legal right to sell the goods.

On receipt we will assess the value of the contents and contact you by post or email with our offer. When you accept our offer, either by email or post we will be happy to send a cheque out to you!
If in the unlikely event you deline our offer we will return the goods to you, by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
